Well, well, well, looks like some folks are wonderin’ if that Steph Curry fella is gonna be playin’ tonight. Now, I ain’t no expert on all them fancy basketball terms, but I do know a thing or two about the game. So let me tell ya, it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster for him lately with all them injuries and whatnot.
As of today, Monday, ol’ Steph Curry is listed as “questionable” for the game against the LA Clippers. Now, what does that mean, you ask? Well, “questionable” is just a way of sayin’ they ain’t sure if he’s gonna play. Could be he feels better come game time, or could be that knee’s still givin’ him trouble. He’s been havin’ some issues with that left knee – somethin’ called bursitis, though I ain’t sure what that even means. All I know is it’s been makin’ him limp around a bit.
But don’t go gettin’ all worried just yet! I heard from some folks close to the team, they reckon that Steph Curry is expected to suit up tonight. His coach, Steve Kerr, even said he didn’t know Curry was on the injury list! He called it “protocol” – whatever that means. But anyway, sounds like they’re thinkin’ he’ll be ready to hit the court against the Clippers, who ain’t exactly a walk in the park to play against, if ya ask me.
Now, let me tell ya, this ain’t the first time Curry’s been up against the Clippers. Over the years, he’s faced ’em plenty of times, and, well, he’s usually been able to hold his own. The man can shoot like nobody’s business. When he gets to swishin’ them three-pointers, it’s like watchin’ magic happen right in front of ya!
But hold up, it ain’t been all smooth sailin’ for ol’ Steph lately. He’s been a bit banged up. I heard he missed three whole games before this, sittin’ out because of a sprained ankle. But I reckon he’s good to go now. I sure hope so, cause the Warriors need him. They’ve been doin’ pretty well this season, 5-1 and all, but they need their star player to keep that streak goin’.
Just a little while ago, Curry came back from an injury in his leg – somethin’ about a peroneal strain. But he came back strong, puttin’ up 24 minutes in a game against the Washington Wizards. He looked pretty good out there too. So, even though he’s had his share of aches and pains, it seems like he’s ready to get back at it.
Now, I’m not gonna sit here and tell ya I know for sure if Curry will be playin’ tonight. It’s all up to him and them doctors to make sure he’s good to go. But the way it looks, he’s likely to take to that court tonight in LA. So, if you’re hopin’ to see some of them signature threes, you might just get lucky and see ol’ Steph do his thing!
But hey, whether he’s out there or not, you best believe them Warriors are gonna give it their all. They’ve got a solid team, and with or without Curry, they’ve still got a shot. So, make sure you tune in and watch the game, cause you never know when somethin’ special might happen!
Update: As of now, Curry is still listed as questionable, but don’t be surprised if he takes the floor. Keep an eye on the news and updates right before the game starts to get the final word on his status.
